Bamako, Mali, July 23, 2024 – The Third China-Mali Cooperation Forum was successfully held today in Bamako, the capital of Mali. Key figures in attendance included Zhang Xinwen, Vice Chairman of the Shandong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Zhao Zhihong, Chinese Ambassador to Mali, H. E. Moussa Alassane Diallo, Mali's Minister of Industry and Trade, and Lassine Dembele, Mali's Minister of Agriculture. As a leading player in China's agricultural machinery industry, Weichai Lovol was the sole Chinese agricultural machinery company invited to participate, underscoring its leadership within the industry.

During the forum, Weichai Lovol representing the Shandong Provincial Government, donated two Lovol tractors to the Malian government, aimed at supporting Mali’s agricultural mechanization efforts. Vice Chairman Zhang Xinwen and Minister H. E. Moussa Alassane Diallo officially sign the donation agreement at The donation ceremony , with the tractor keys handed over to Minister Lassine Dembele. This gesture not only demonstrates Chinese enterprises' support for agricultural development in African nations but also highlights Weichai Lovol's significant influence in the global agricultural machinery market.

Following the ceremony, the delegation visited Weichai Lovol's tractor assembly plant in Mali. Mr. Sun Deming, Director of Overseas Marketing for Weichai Lovol and local dealer representatives were interviewed by Malian National Television. Mr. Sun emphasized that Weichai Lovol will continue to strengthen its cooperation with Mali, providing advanced agricultural machinery and technical support to drive the modernization of local agriculture and further cement the friendly cooperation between China and Mali.
